Welcome to the Productivity Manager Website! 

Overview: The Productivity Manager Website was created with one major goal in mind - to provide a quick and easy access for all users and productivity managers to company Events, Resources, and Contacts they need for planning and working.  The Productivity Manager is designed to fill the needs of companies for event, resource, and contact information management in two critical functionality areas: 1) Basic Functionality and 2) Advanced Functionality.

Basic Functionality: 

Database Platform - Management tools to completely and flexibly manage all aspects of data records for Events, Resources, and Contacts within the Productivity Manager Database. 

  • Access Database - Access Database is presently used to drive the entire site using server side scripting with ASP.
  • Complete Database Access - Complete database access for all records of Events, Resources, and Contacts with functionality for everything from listing to editing data records.
  • 100% Internet Compatible- 100% internet compatibility means that all users can access critical Events, Resources, and Contacts information 100% of the time from any location serviced by the internet!

Data Management - Management tools to completely and flexibly manage all aspects of data records for Events, Resources, and Contacts within the Productivity Manager Database. 

  • Full Records Listing - Full listing of all important data elements for each Event, Resource, and Contact record.
  • Flexible Records Search - Flexible search of Events, Resources, and Contacts by various criteria.  For example, if you are looking for a contact related to NT support, just type "NT" in the ALL search field, and you will get a list of all "hits" showing contacts with the two letters NT somewhere in their record.
  • Real-time Records Editing and Updating - Real-time records editing and updating for Events, Resources, and Contacts to allow users the capability of changing information on the fly. 

Event and Resource Scheduling- Event and resource scheduling tools to interactively and proactively schedule all Events and Resources within the Productivity Manager. 

  • Full Daily, Weekly, Monthly Views - Full daily, weekly, monthly views  with graphical representations of Events and Resources for either days, weeks, and/or months.  This is designed to give users immediate, on demand access to information about Events and/or Resources for their planning.  From here, the user can move forward or back in time to view Events and/or Resources at different periods.
  • One-click Listing- One-click listing of Events and/or Resources for given all important data elements for each Event, Resource, and Contact data record.
  • Real-time Editing and Updating - Real-time editing and updating of scheduled Events and/or Resources to allow users the ability of changing information on the fly. 

Advanced Functionality: 

Administrative Management  - Administration tools to completely, flexibly managing all aspects of data records for Events, Resources, and Contacts from the Productivity Manager Database. 

  • Logon and Password Protection - Login and password features allow the administrator to specify access and use of the Productivity Manager Web site.  Without a correct login and password combination, a user can not begin to use the site!
  • Users and Groups - Users and Groups provide the capability to channel users of the Productivity Manager to their respective "Groups".  For example, when someone is assigned to a UserGroup such as "IT", you can click a link to that UserGroup and get information about it and it's other members.  This can be very handy if a user you are trying to contact isn't available and you need to get in touch with someone else who can do what you need.
  • Administered File and Database Access - There are several layers of access built into the Productivity Manager Website.  The first layer is through login and password.  The second layer is through LogonID validation in the server side code.  Certain features are turned on and off based on the areas of access your UserID has been given in the database.  You can't view a single page if you are not listed on the server as part of the authorized user group.  (this is handled on the web server and not included in the code). 

Collaborative Scheduling - Collaborative scheduling tools for Event and Resource management as well as proactive database monitoring for expense reduction and productivity increase.  Through Artificial Intelligence software, similar to software in other products like iSearch™ from iCognate, Inc., the user extends the functionality of information management far beyond other systems with the powerful AI tools for  the Productivity Manager! 

  • Description Matching - Searches and matches Event and Resource descriptions to Events and Resources already in the database Event and Resource descriptions can be words, phrases, and/or paragraphs to capture the concepts and ideas the user is interested in searching on.
  • Interest Matching -  Searches and matches Events and Resources for all potentially interested parties from other contacts and groups (inter or intra-company) per Event and Resource requirements within specified windows of time and/or cost.
  • Use Matching -  Proactively searches a contact or groups pattern of use for Events and Resources.  The search can be used to match a contact or groups pattern to those of other contact or groups inter or intra-company for collaborative scheduling and cost reduction.

Customization and Development:

The Productivity Manager Website is a software product under development.  Consequently, there may still be residual bugs in the code.  In addition, we are always looking for ways to improve the functionality and increase customer satisfaction for the Productivity Manager Website.  Please feel free to send comments on any residual bugs or suggestions for improvements to webmaster@icognate.com.
