What's New

"Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration."

Thomas Alva Edison, 1893

The future of the offerings of iCognate to clients, employees, and investors is R & D.  From our perspective, we are a company that is leading the revolution in the information age...discovering and improving ways to apply our cognition technologies.  From your perspective, you will discover a company with has talented people, a company with first mover advantage, a company in growth markets, a company with compelling products, and a company with a sustainable position.

At core, our products are build on our proprietary Artificial Cognition Engine (ACE) technology.  This meta-language parsing and sentential recognition system is currently used in three distinct applications that are being developed and offered. At present, our R & D efforts are focused on two basic areas: 1) Core Technology - ways to enhance our proprietary Artificial Cognition Engine (ACE) technology, and 2) Applications - ways to apply ACE to new applications.

Presently, two issues that inevitably surface in our R & D efforts are: 1)  what are the limits of functionality in application of ACE and 2) assuming a given application with ACE is realized, what would the market require in terms of functionality and what would the acceptance of the application be?  We have already invested a significant amount of R & D considering applications for game playing, language translation, natural-language understanding, fault diagnosis, robotics, and supplying expert advice

For the future, our R & D efforts are guided by our clients, employees, and investors.  iCognate is focused on R & D that would foster cognition technology for application to a number of different areas include: 1) Operating Systems, 2) Communication Systems, and 3) Gaming Systems.  The ultimate achievement would be to build an application or machine that can perform tasks perceived to be entirely human in intelligence!
